“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”  -Lao Tzu

Travel is an important part of life, whether it be for work, leisure or random adventure, the internal knowledge you gain throughout the process is incomparable to many other things.   As a single human in my 30s there are still many events that may affect my life throughout the process that travel just can’t touch, like giving birth, loosing births, getting married, owning a home, etc.  These are things that  people hold dear and significant in their own lives, however that is not imbedded itself in my current journey.

As a child we had always done camping trips, car rides, beach visits.  Five children and two adults and a lot of baggage is a lot to load with you, not to mention a lot of personalities to balance.  I am forever grateful to my parents for giving us those gifts and making us all the people we are today.  Children and travel are an important step of the process, one I may eventually know or one I may never know.  Giving your child the chance to see what other towns look like, other streets, other environments, cultures and most importantly feeding into the curious mind inside of all of us.  Travel feeds the internal child in me, makes me question the world and why we are in it. I look forward to sharing my travels with you.
